Meet the Maker

I am Christie, the face behind Mom and Tribe Co. and Ella Reese Photography

I am a multi-passionate, 3 cup of coffee; dance party with my little girls in the kitchen memory loving photographer, with a slight addiction to cheesy realty TV.  If you know me, you have probably heard me yell the phrase "I'm creating memories!" while trying to get photos of my uncooperative friends and family.

We had a major health crisis with my 2.5 year old at the time, and I remember everyone trying to take as many photos as possible the days before her surgery, trying to make as many memories as they could; to remember every little facial expression and look that she has. That there was the moment when I knew that I wanted to make sure not only we, but everyone else could get all these moments caught on camera as well.

After the dust settled, I had realized I had reached my breaking point, and needed help, I needed a tribe, a village; at that point, anything. And when I looked around, I realized I saw more competition between moms, and within our community. It seemed more were rooting for you to fail, and to be able to compete and brag about how they accomplished more. I was devastated, and from that moment on, starting making spreadsheets and lists on things I feel can help make our lives just a little less stressful.

We are always trying to add decor, and personality into our homes, but most of us do not have time to shop for our homes. We mentally need to refresh, and whether that is meditating, journaling, exercising, or anything in between, we will be your go to help. Gifts. There is always something I seemed to drop the ball on, that I needed a last minute something for someone.  Memories. I offer all type of photography sessions, as being my number one passion. I am fully committed to making sure everyone has the ability to have something special to look at and have a smile on your face.

I whole heartily believe that we all need a little bit of help, and we should be able to help lift each other up, instead of tearing them down. There is enough room in this world for us all to be happy.

I started this company to help in any way that I can, I believe in supporting everyone. I also believe in helping other mom entrepreneurs and supporting them. My family is my world, and I do this for them.
