Community over Competition and let's Collaborate

We have all heard the saying, or something similar to the saying, “community over competition”. But what happens when you don’t know where to find your community? We especially as females are into new territory, where we believe and know we can do anything. There are so many women entering the work force and just dominating. How do we make this Christmas season feel normal????

Christmas is getting closer and closer. And it does not look like it ever looked before.    With the activities and festivities, and parties, and gatherings not happening, we can find ourselves falling into a rut, and maybe not celebrating or being as cheerful as we normally would.    I know for a lot, holidays are hard enough without the added stress of any restrictions or worries. From starting a few businesses of my own, I understand the hussle, and time, and effort, and sacrifices that it takes to run something successful. I try to give back to my community as much as possible, and for me, this is one of those ways. I don’t want or expect anything back, but just to help another mama out. It can be tiring and lonely to be a mom, and business owner. Whether that is working from home or if...

Every day at dinner time, for our family we do something called magic moments.

Every day at dinner time, for our family we do something called magic moments.

Some people celebrate thanksgiving Sunday, and others celebrate today, on the Monday. Either way, no matter what this year has brought, I’m sure that we all can find something to feel thankful for. Every day at dinner time, for our family we do something called magic moments.   My daughter went to camp a couple years ago, and at the end of the day all the kids went around a circle saying what their magic moment was. You would say what your favorite moment of the day was. And this was something that stuck with my oldest. Now ever...
