Christmas this year is going to be different, so...Let's have a contest!

Posted by Christie Reimer on

I pride myself in my work and consistency. So I owe you all an apology for not showing up the last week, especially for #momsinbusinessmonday

I do not want to be too repetitive and talk about the same moms each week, and I am still searching for more and new moms to feature. Because there was a lull, I quickly fell off track, and it was easy for me to fall into a slump last week. Running a successful business during these times it not easy. Running two businesses during these times with kids, is even harder.

The last week, I had to pick which to put as a priority. My kids, or business. My kids came first. There are going to be ups and downs in business, especially a home run business. SO many times, when the day gets busy, I hear myself saying that I will work once the kids go to bed. Bedtime comes and I am too tired. That is OK, and you need to give yourself a break. The important thing is that you get back up and start again.

SO here I am starting again.

And this time with something amazing that I have been working very hard on.

Christmas this year is going to be different. It maybe hard. It maybe sad. Finding activities to do will be difficult.

That’s why we have been thinking and thinking about what WE can do to help promote something fun for the family, something that is SAFE. What we came up with was a #virtual , #safe , online #gingerbreadhousecontest

We have teamed up with some great local Cochrane businesses, and have come up with a HUGE prize for the winner.

Prizes included are:

Three Seeds Shop (Santa Tray, and ornament)

Anika’s Alterations and Custom Design (TWO kid aprons)

Balsam Clothing and Designs (TWO stuffy pillows)

Lannie Rae Gourmet (Birthday Cake Pancake and waffle mix)

Sevinnsbathbombs (Box of assorted Christmas BathBombs)

Mom and Tribe Co (Christmas Mug and Season’s Greetings Basket)

Doesn’t that sound GREAT?

We also recognize that it can be hard to get out nowadays, and that money can be tight due to shorter hours or changes with your work. Mom and Tribe is also going to be donating a few gingerbread house kits to those who otherwise would not be able to participate. We are about community!

Details of this contest will be on our FACEBOOK PAGE

Let’s tell everyone we know about this contest, and try to get the whole community involved!

(Prize winner must be able to pick up in Cochrane)

Happy Gingerbread making!
